Research on Ecological Barrier (Afforestation) Evaluation Index System of the Upper Yangtze River

Abstract:
In this paper,in view of the situation of lack of domestic ecological barrier afforestation achievement evaluation index system,on the basis of summarizing the predecessors' research,by looking up a large number of references,and by using Delphi method to screen indexes and the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) to determine weights,five big srstems were finally screened suah as forest ecosystem,wetland ecosystem,desertification ecosystem,urban ecological system and security support system,including 25 indicators of the upper Yangtze River ecological barrier (afforestation) evaluation index system and evaluation model,thus for Sichuan and even the Yangtze River upstream areas a theoretical basis was provided for the implementation of completing the upper Yangtze river ecological barrier.
A Study of Reproductive Growth Characteristics and Seed Germination of Eucalyptus dunnii Introduced in Sichuan Province

Abstract:
Studying the flowering development and seed germination of introduced Eucalyptu dunnii and mastering its reproductive growth law can provide a theoretical basis for seed garden.In this study,a blooming plant growing in Zitong County was selected as the experiment subject.The results were as follows:florescence date of Eucalyptu dunnii being from Mid and late February to mid and late October.Depending on morphologic change,flowering could be divided into 6 phases:Flower bud differentiation stage,inflorescence formation stage,opercle color change stage,opercle enlargement and shedding ring formation stage,flowering period,seed development stage.The development process of the buds on the same inflorescence was basically the same,and the growth of buds near the base of the same branch was faster than that of the top buds.The development of flower buds in different positions showed a random trend.Opercle had 3 to 4 ovary cavities,the number of shriveled seeds was far more than the number of effective seeds,and on a average,each capsule containing five normal seeds could develop into seedlings.

Abstract:
Because disturbances from the Wenchuan earthquake to the regional environment are very huge and continuous,disaster controlling and recovery of ecological environment in disaster areas is an important task of rehabitation.By means of expert scoring method,the evaluation index system of vegetation restoration was set up in the Wenchuan earthquake zone.And studies were made of recovery characteristics of community,biomass and soil from typical damage forest of representative 9 counties in Wenchuan earthquake areas through the way of sample plot.On this basis,the disaster types and the degree of forest land damaging caused by the earthquake were evaluated,and some vegetation restoration models were screened out in view of different disaster types and at different degree of forest land damaging.
Improvement Effects of Different Forest Types on Soil of the Urban Waterfront

Abstract:
The urban soil was an important part of urban ecosystems.In this paper,six forest types were selected for the study in Shahe River landscape ecology shelterbelts.They were Locust forest,privet-elm forest,Ficus virens-privet forest which was multiple storied tree,shrub and grass and Metasequoia forest,bamboo forest and Palmetto forest which was multiple storied tree and grass.Comparative studies were conducted on the soil mechanical composition,porosity,and total nitrogen,total phosphorus,total potassium content of major nutrients.The results showed that ① privet-elm forest had the highest content of clay and silt in six forest types,being 7.79%±0.06% and 60.01%±0.15%;and followed by Ficus virens-privet forest and locust forest second;and Palmettoand bamboo forests had the lowest content; ② Soil porosity and capillary porosity showed the highest in locust forest,being 47.41%±0.79% and 44.22%±0.87%;Several other forests showed privet-elm forest > Ficus virens-privet forest > bamboo forest > Metasequoia forest > Palmetto forest in descending order.③ Soil total nitrogen,total phosphorus and total potassium content showed the highest in privet-elm forest; Soil total nitrogen and total potassium content showed the lowest in Metasequoia forest; Soil total phosphorus showed the lowest in Palmetto forest.④ Considering the soil mechanical composition,porosity,and total nitrogen,total phosphorus,total potassium content of major nutrients,the privet-elm forest which was multiple storied tree,shrub and grass showed the best.
Community Characteristics of Cupressus chengiana Forests under Different Disturbance Intensity in the Dadu River Basin,Sichuan,West China

Abstract:
The Cupressus chengiana S.Y.Hu is one of national Ⅱ level protected species,mainly distributed in the basins of the Minjiang,Dadu and Bailong Rivers in China.Based on the disturbance type and intensity,C.chengiana forests were divided into severe,moderate and mild disturbance types,respectively.In order to answer the affects of different disturbance intensity on C.chengiana ommunity characteristics,analysis was made of species diversity and important values under different disturbance types.The results showed that under the severe,moderate and mild interference intensity,the species of C.chengiana forests consisted of 30,43,and 50 species respectively,and the different interference intensity had a significant effect on C.chengiana community species diversity (P<0.05).Under heavy,moderate and mild disturbance,the importance values of tree layer in Cupressus chengiana were 256.09、154.09 and 116.19 respectivehy.The important values of shrub layer in Cupressus chengiana seedlings and saplings were 107.08,5.44 and 29.27,being higher than those of other species.The studies have shown that human disturbance has a significant influence on Cupressus species diversity composition.
A Study of Man-made Shelter Forest Decline in Sichuan Province

Abstract:
Shelter forest is one of the main forest categories in Sichuan Province,occupying an area of more than half of all forests.Its dominant tree species is cypress and its area accounts for 17.33% of the total shelter forest area.Based on the features of man-made shelter forest and the definition of the shelter forest decline,in the paper studies were made of an assessment index system and the degree system of man-made shelter forest decline in Sichuan province.Through analysis,man-made shelter forest decline area was 448.5 thousand hectares and its volume was 45 million 268 thousand and 600 cubic metres in Sichuan province.Finally,analysis was made of the causes of man-made shelter forest decline from natural factors,social factors and management technology.

Effects of Urban Forest on Atmospheric Particulate Matter in Typical Urban Pollution in Chengdu

Abstract:
Atmospheric particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) were the primary pollutants that affect urban air quality.Atmospheric particulate pollution resulted from weather conditions was serious in autumn and winter thes years.In this paper,analysis was made of the daily variation of atmospheric particulate matter concentration in the autumn and winter of Chengdu in 2016 and the daily variation of atmospheric particulate matter concentration in urban forest.The results showed that (1) atmospheric particulate matter concentration and meteorological conditions had a significant correlation,favorable weather conditions could accelerate the proliferation of atmospheric particulate matter,and effectively improve the air quality.(2) The diurnal variation of PM10 and TSP in urban forest was lower than that in forest,and the diurnal variation of atmospheric particulate matter in urban forest showed the pattern of "morning and evening high and low daytime".

Abstract:
For implementing every forestland border and utilization to the land,the definition of forestland border was the foundation of implementing national provincial and county levels forestland planning,protection and utilization and it was also the basement of national forestland map establishment.This study focused on the needs of Sichuan province definition of forestland border,analyzed the workflow,built the methods of layers standardization,forestland polygons attributes complement,forestland polygons quick-merge and auto-merge,designed the structure and functions of Sichuan definition of forestland border software.The software has already been widely applied to the practical work of definition of forestland border in more than 100 counties of Sichuan Province,experience had proved that the application of the software not only effectively ensured the consistency of forestland polygons data,but also reduced the difficulty and complexity of definition of forestland border,it was easily realized and have very good practical value.

Abstract:
In ths paper,taking disks of Cyclocarya paliurus trunk at 1.3 m as the research object,through the wood anatomic method measurement was conducted on its growth round fiber length,width,aspect ratio,cavity diameter,wall thickness,wall cavity ratio and tube length,width,aspect ratio,cavity diameter,wall thickness and wall cavity ratio,and studies were made of the various indicators along with the growth ring radial variation patterns of age growth.The results showed that Cyclocarya paliurus fiber length and fiber length-width ratio along with the growth of the age of growth ring overall had a growing radial variation law; And fiber width,fiber wall thickness,diameter,fiber wall cavity ratio along with the growth of the age of growth ring exhibited no obvious variation regularity.Cyclocarya paliurus catheter in the wall thickness,length,width of catheter,guide catheter lumen diameter along with the growth of the age of growth ring radial variation regularity of overall increased; Catheter length-width ratio,guide wall cavity ratio along with the growth of the growth ring of age had no obvious variation rule.

Soil physical properties,temperature and moisture were determined under 4 agro-forestry models (including Juglans regia+Radix Chuanmingshinis Violacei(C),Juglans regia+Platycodon grandiflorus(J),Juglans regia+Agastache rugosa(H)) and Juglans regia control (CK)).The results showed that under different agro-forestry models:1.The differences of soil physical properties were not significant between the upper and lower soil.2.The differences of soil temperature among different agro-forestry models were not significant,while the effects of time and interaction between time and agro-forestry models were extremely significant.3.The differences of soil moisture among different agro-forestry modes were significant,while the effects of time and interaction between time and agro-forestry models were extremely significant.

Abstract:
The gulls shape mesh (Lariformes) bird is an important component of the wetland waterfowl,and has a very important role in maintaining wetland ecosystem.Since 1983 many gulls birds have been repeatedly found in Deyang,but these gulls birds resources are not clear.In 2013~2016 some experts and scholars were organized to carry out the bird diversity research in Deyang city.By the end of 2016,in Deyang city 18 species of gulls birds were found belonging to 9 genera and 2 families,belonging to the sea birds,being summer and migratory birds,occasional fan birds,of which 95% were new gulls in addition to the sea gull in Deyang city before 1983.Remaining 17 species were new records found in Deyang city after 1983.Among them,short tail skua also added 1 new species for China gull shape mesh of bird species records; Short tail skua gull wing gull,ash,yellow feet,grey back gull,thin mouth gulls,little gull,relict gull,gulls mouth noise gulls refreshed gulls shape mesh birds in Sichuan,being new records in Sichuan Little gull,gulls mouth noise gulls added 2 new records for sichuan gulls birds.1 species belonged to national key protection wild animals;1 species belonged to National secondary protection of wild animals; There were four gulls kelonging Sichuan provincial key protected wild animals,5 species belonged to waterfowl protected in the agreement between China and Japan,3 species belogned China-australia waterfowl protection agreement; Relict gull was also included in the convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora appendix Ⅰ.This study filled the Deyang city gulls eye bird resource diversity research blank,and for the protection of Deyang city gulls shape mesh birds resources put forward three suggestions,arming to provide scientific basis for wetland waterfowl.

Influences of pH Values in Soil on Magnolia dawsoniana Seedling Growth

Abstract:
In this paper,studies were made of the effect of different soil pH treatment on the growth of M.dawsoniana seedlings.With pH value of 7.5 as the control,the treatments were conducted by using different pH values of 4.5,5.5,6.5,8.5 and 9.5,respectively.The experimental results displayed the damage and growth parameters of seedlings under different soil pH treatments.When pH value was between 5.5 to 7.5,the morphological characteristics,plant height growth,basal diameter and leaf area of the seedlings were remarkably higher than other treatments.Among them,all indicators of seedlings reached the maximum when pH value was 6.5.Besides,when pH value was lower or higher than 5.5,the growth of seedlings was significantly inhibited.
Effect of Slow-release Fertilizer on the Gowth of Container Seedlings of Cunninghamia lanceolata

Abstract:
The effects of different levels of controlled release fertilers on growth and biomass of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings were studied by means of the randomized block design.The height and diameter of Cunninghamia lanceolata container seedlings increased with the decreasing trend after fertilization increase; biomass of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings increased with increasing trend of fertilizers; root-shoot ratio and the ratio of height to diameter had no obvious regularity.Comprehensively,the slow-release fertilizer was M4,which was the most beneficial to the growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings.

In this paper,3 different site preparation ways were used to study their effect on the sapling survival rate,the conservation rate,the tree height and the ground diameter increment of Photinia glomerata.The results indicated that the survival rate was treatment A > B > C,the conservation rate was trentment B > A > C,the tree eight and the ground diameter growth increment were treatment A > B > C.
Research on Effect of Preventive Controlling Dendrolimus puncyatus by Aerial Spraying Beauvefia bassiana

Abstract:
From 2007 to 2011,an aerial spraying pesticide of Beauvefia bassiana was used to prevent against Dendrolimus puncyatus.The result showed that the population density of Dendrolimus puncyatus before control significantly decreased year by year from 2007 to 2009,and kept at a low level between 2010 to 2012,but had no significant difference last year; The ratio of harmed trees before control was consistent with the population density of Dendrolimus puncyatus.The result also proved that when pesticide Beauvefia bassiana was sprayed to prevent Dendrolimus puncyatus in serious hazardous and moderately hazardous forests,the control effect was embodied as decreased population density of Dendrolimus puncyatus and decreased ratio of harmed trees in first 2 years,and kept low level in last 3 years.Therefore,the preventive control effect was very effective.

Abstract:
Phyllostachys nidularia is among the important substructural,ecological and economic resources in Huaying Moutain areas and cultivation of Phyllostachys nidularia forests for bamboo shoot use in this area is one direction of management transition of this bamboo species.Completely random experimental design was adopted in the present study,and Phyllostachys nidularia quadrats located in four slope positions (valley,under-part of the slope,middle position of the slope and hilltop) were investigated concerning bamboo growth and shoot emergence,i.e.,bamboo height,bamboo 1.3-m diameter and survived/wilted bamboo shoot,etc.According to this study,some suggestions were put forward for the management of bamboo shoot-use stands of native small-diameter bamboo species in hilly areas,and three technological systems,that is,intensively management,nearly-naturally management and brand building,were proposed to be objectively required by bamboo industry at present.
Tending and Improving Technology of Cupressus funebris Forest and its Application Demonstration in Sichuan Hilly Regions

Abstract:
Based on the causes of formation and present situation of artificial cypress low-function forest in the eastern Sichuan,discussion was made on the design of forest improvement,including design concept,type judgement,intermediate cutting and afforestation measures,and so on.Forest structure was optimized and forest health was enhanced through such 4 kinds of reform methods as implementation of tending,adjustment,replanting and integrated improvement.Health quality of Cupressus funebris forests and comprehensive benefits in the region would be improved.The monitoring results in fixed sample plots showed that volume growth rate and coverage of shrubs after 5 years were higher than control plots,and the stand hierarchy became more reasonable.

Abstract:
According to the requirements of afforestation for carbon sink,an evaluation system was established that was based on an analysis of forest carbon sink estimation,ecological importance,economic and social situation,and potential risks for the selected plots.And analysis was made of afforestation selected plots for launching forest carbon sink projects in Sichuan.The selected plots were divided into the priority area,the sub-priority area and the potential area.Each area was 418 800 hm2,343 500 hm2 and 290 400 hm2,accounting for 36.0%,29.6% and 25.0% respectively of the area for afforestation in Sichuan.In this study,the major priority areas for forest carbon sink projects in Sichuan were mainly distributed in the Qinba Mountain area in the northwest of Sichuan and the Liangshan area in the southwest of Sichuan.

Abstract:
From the evaluation scale, the regional difference, the index weight and the evaluation model, the evaluation result determinarion and the management factor, analysis was made of the present situation and the existent prblems the forest sustainable index system. In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward to establish the concept of the index system database of forest sustainable management. Index system database is an open, dynamic and continuous updating system. It is responsible for special organization management and regular updating,and can avoid the duplication of collection and cumbersome index system, contributing to advance the index weight and the evaluation model method to promote unity, to achieve a unified development of forest sustainable management index system based on management unit level.

Abstract:
In the Gansu Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve,the collective forest management model was established on the basis of researching into Baishuijiang characteristics,resonrce distribution situation,and the way of forest management. The Gansu Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve improved the forest protect management system, standardized community co-management organizations, and promoted implementation of nature collective forest management work orderly and firmly, in accordance with the principle that makes management responsibilities to everyone, the protect forest area to the home, the fund use by village, the funds use supervise by the station,therefore ensuring community villagers able to get benefit in the process of the management, and making the Baishuijiang Nature Reserve be protected effectively and the community villagers play the leading role in the collective forest protection project.

Abstract:
Suburban forest parks with its unique location advantage, beautiful natural environment, perfect infrastructure attracted more and more city people to leisure, sightseeing and tour. The direction of suburban forest parks was not consistent with the general forest park, so finding the right development direction was very important. In this paper, SWOT analysis methods were used to research Yunwuping Forest Park in Jiangjin,Chongqing,analyzing its advantages (S), weaknesses (W), opportunities (O) and threats (T) in order to provide feasible references for the sustainable development of this Forest Park, and lay the groundwork for realizing long-term development of suburban forest park.

According to the present situation of forest species structure and peripheric occurrence of pine wilt disease in Dazhu County,analysis was made of pine wilt disease prevention and control situation and the ecological and economic significance,the main problems were pointed out and it was put forward to increase capital investment and propaganda,establish a strict prevention and control accountability system,promote the application of the latest scientific and technological achievements and measures,aiming to eliminate natural and man-made transmission.

On the basis of summarizing the investment and financing channels of collective forest tenure reform,taking Pengan county in Sichuan Province as an example, this paper systematically analyzes the investment and financing situation of the collective forest right system reform in the county.With the traditional financial channels,Pengan County actively explore and introduce credit and insurance and other financial products into the collective forest right system reform,solving the difficulty of forestry investment and financing and the realistic problem of farmers that they can not resist the disaster,promoting the collective forest right system reform of forestry development.
