  • In order to find out the quicker and easier methods of determining the pollen viability of Castanea crenata,the pollen viability were detected by methods of I-KI,T TC and solid medium.According to the results,methods of the staining with TTC and I2-KI were difficult to determine the pollen viability,but solid medium germination method was suitable to be used to detect the pollen viability
