LIU Xin-chao
2019, 40(1): 1-4. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2019.01.001
Abstract:
Based on the field survey of Keteleeria fortunei population,a rare and valuable plant species in Changle District,Fuzhou City, the life table and survival analysis of this population were explored to study the dynamic population variation. The results showed that medium trees formed the largest K.fortunei population, followed by the large trees, while the small trees formed the smallest population in Changle City.Meanwhile, the population survival curve was a concave one, which tended to Deevey type Ⅲ,representing as a decline population. The trend of mortality rate and risk rate in K.fortunei population was basically similar. The early mortality rate of K.fortunei population was high, while the population mortality rate was relatively low at the age of VI.The population survival curve showed that the K.fortunei population decreased rapidly in early age period, stable in middle age period, and declined in old age period.

YANG You-qin, LI Deng-fei, WANG Li, WANG Qiong
2019, 40(1): 5-14. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2019.01.002
Abstract:
Evaluating shade-tolerance of wild flower plants contributed to effective introduction and cultivation as well as reasonable utilization of plant resources. In this study, the wild ornamental plant (Impatiens oxyanthera) was grown in two different light environments (unshading and shading at (26.242±1.029)% with black shading net) in E'mei Mountain for about 4 months. The morphological, and gaseous exchange characteristics were measured and photosynthetic-light curve parameters were calculated. The results showed that shading significantly promoted the growth of I.oxyanthera, which increased plant height, base diameter, branch number, crown width, single leaf area, leaf length and width.Shading significantly reduced net photosynthetic rate due to the decrease of the transpiration rates and stomatal conductance, but had no obvious effect on the other gas exchange traits, such as intercellular CO2 concentration, water use efficiency and stomatal limit. In addition, shading significantly increased apparent quantum yield by 69.841%.The comprehensive evaluation of shade-tolerance of I.oxyanthera showed that average comprehensive evaluation value was 0.407 by principal component analysis and subordinate function method. This suggested that I.oxyanthera had a good resistance to shade, and could adapt to low light environment through improving single leaf area to make up for the reduction of net photosynthetic rate per unit area and increasing apparent quantum yield.Higher shade-tolerance would have an important application value for garden-plant scenery and greening at the shading areas of buildings.

2019, 40(1): 25-29. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2019.01.005
Abstract:
In order to evaluate characters of soil carbon and alkaline nitrogen in urban green lands, investigations were made on soil organic carbon, alkaline nitrogen and their vertical distribution characteristics and correlation in unban green lands(park, road, residential land and campus) in Changchun City. The results showed that soil physical and chemical properties, organic carbon(SOC) and alkalinity nitrogen(AN) content were significantly influenced by green space type and soil profile(P<0.05).The mean values of soil pH in 0~30 cm soil depth under different green lands were:campus > road > residential land > park; The mean values of soil SOC in 0~30 cm soil depth under different green lands were:park > road > residential land > campus; The mean values of soil AN in 0~30 cm soil depth under different green lands were:park > residential land > campus > road;Correlation analysis showed that soil SOC was positively correlated with AN,while green soil pH was negatively correlated with SOC content. This led to the conclusion that the alkalysis nitrogen content should be increased in the soil, and the soil pH should be adjusted to optimize the soil, increase the carbon sequestration, weaken the greenhouse effect and improve the ecological environment.

2019, 40(1): 30-34. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2019.01.006
Abstract:
To study the forest ecosystem service in different stages of forest transformation, Pinus massoniana forest was selected together with early, middle and late stages of transformed forest communities. The value of forest ecosystem services were evaluated according to the national standard of Specifications for assessment of forest ecosystem services in China (LY/T 1721-2008).The results showed that:(1) The unit value of forest ecosystem services were 76.5 thousand,75.1 thousand yuan,84.0 thousand yuan and 104.7 thousand yuan·hm-2·a-1,respectively in P. massoniana forest, sapling forest,mid-maturation forest and near-mature forest of C. camphora. (2) In the process of transforming P. massoniana forest into mixed forest of P.massoniana and C.camphora, forest ecosystem service was lower in early stage of forest transformation than that in P. massoniana forest because C.camphora was in the shrub layer. Then forest ecosystem services improved significantly as time went by.(3) In the process of P.massoniana forest management, mixed forests should be create and the operating period should be increased in sapling forest,mid-maturation forest in order to improve forest ecosystem service function.

Abstract:
Poplar and willow belong to salicaceae plants, both of them were widely used in economic forest, urban afforestation and roadside.Rust was one of the serious diseases that harmed the salicaceae plants, especially in high density planting nursery and pieces of timber forests. The aims of this study was to compare the differences of symptoms, epidemic characteristics and pathological characteristics between the poplar rust and willow rust, and to provide a theoretical and practical guidance for the prevention and treatment of the disease. The field study was carried out in Northeastern Sichuan (including Gaoping district and Xichong county of Nanchong,Qianfeng district and Wusheng country of Guang'an).Epidemiological investigation and microscopic observation technology were adopted in this study. Most of the pathogenic bacteria affected the leaves and seedlings of the poplar and willow, caused leaves to fall off early and the seedlings to wither. But the pathogenic bacteria was Melampsora larici populina (Melampsora larici-populins) for poplar rust; for willow rust,it was Melampsora larici the Hemicriconemoides (Melampsora coleosporioides Diet.).Though there were several same characters between the poplar and willow rust, they were different in the aspects of the symptoms, pathogenic types and occurrence regularity of the disease. It is advised that pertinent prevention and treatment should be chosen according to the different hosts.
