  • Dendrocalamus farinosus is one of the native bamboos in Sichuan. In this study, the influence of bamboo age, even degree, uniform degree and density on bamboo yield were estimated by setting 125 sample plots which were managed in similar measures. The result showed that there were significant influence of age, uniform degree and density on bamboo yield, but the influence of the even degree was insignificant on the yield. As a consequence, it was found that the age structure(1 a~2 a prevailed), 10 values uniform degree and 10000 plants per hectare were most optimized forest structure, able to obtain the highest yield.
