  • In the giant panda's activity area,the fixed bamboo plots were set up in Wolong Nature Reserve and regularly monitored and measured,therefore mastering the activities of the wild pandas and the growth of their main food. Then some measures were adopted such as limiting grazing,vegetation restoration after the earthquake and ecological relocation in order to protect the primitive forests. The giant panda habitat was also restored and extended,thus the staple food bamboo for the giant panda got a better protection and devlopment.
