Abstract: A new record of Orchidaceae from the flora of China, Hemipilia fujisanensis (Sugim.) Ying Tang, H.Peng & T.Yukawa, was reported. The description and colorful figures of this species were provided.

  • 兜被兰属(Neottianthe Schltr.)原为兰科(Orchidaceae)的一个小属,约有9-12种,我国四川和云南是其分布中心,仅个别种分布于其他地区[1-2]。该属植物的萼片与花瓣紧密靠合成兜状,属的形态界限较明确[1-2]。近年来,系统发育学研究表明兜被兰属为单系,但它与舌喙兰属(Hemipilia Lindl.)、小红门兰属(Ponerorchis Rchb.f.)、无柱兰属(Amitostigma Schltr.)等类群为并系[3-5]。有鉴于此,学者们普遍采取“广义”属的分类处理,不再接受兜被兰属为一个独立的属,如Jin et al.[3]将兜被兰属归并到了小红门兰属,又如Tang et al.[5]将兜被兰属归并到舌喙兰属兜被兰组(Hemipilia sect. Neottianthe (Schltr.) Ying Tang & H.Peng)。本文即采用了Tang et al.[5]的分类处理。

    2023年,在开展四川卧龙国家级自然保护区植物多样性调查的过程中采集到一种形态特征符合舌喙兰属兜被兰组范畴的兰科植物,最终确定为宽瓣兜被兰(Hemipilia fujisanensis (Sugim.) Ying Tang, H.Peng & T.Yukawa)。该种原为日本特有,产日本北海道及本州中、北部[6],本文在四川卧龙的采集为该种在中国的首次记录。现结合文献和本研究采集的标本,对该种进行描述和报道,并提供其彩色图片。

    宽瓣兜被兰 新拟(图1A-D)

    形态描述:草本。植株高7.8—8.7 cm。块茎椭球状,肉质,长约0.8 cm,宽约0.6 cm。茎直立,基部具1枚筒状鞘;筒状鞘褐色,长0.6—1.2 cm。叶1枚,基生,叶片长圆形,长5.2—6.1 cm,宽1.4—1.9 cm,叶缘波状,先端急尖,基部渐狭成略抱茎的长柄,柄长约1.6—2.6 cm。总状花序顶生,具3朵花;花苞片披针形,最下部的长1.6—1.8 cm,宽0.4—0.5 cm,上部的明显缩小;花梗长约0.2 cm;子房长约0.7 cm。花淡粉红色;萼片与花瓣紧密靠合成兜状;中萼片狭卵形至卵形,长约4.0 mm,宽约2.0 mm,凹陷,先端急尖;侧萼片狭卵形至卵形,基部偏斜,长约4.0 mm,宽约1.8 mm,先端急尖;花瓣狭卵形至卵形,基部略偏斜,长约3.6 mm,宽约1.5 mm,先端钝;唇瓣外轮廓倒阔卵形,长约4.6 mm,宽约3.4 mm,近中部3裂,基部具距;中裂片三角形至梯形,长约1.8 mm,宽约1.9 mm,先端钝至截平;侧裂片小,线形,长约0.9 mm,宽约0.6 mm,先端钝;距粗筒状,长约2.7 mm,宽约1.3 mm,末端圆钝,略向前凸起。药室2个,靠合,并行;粘囊2个,半球状;蕊喙小;柱头2裂;退化雄蕊片状,斜向前突出。

    物候:花期7月上旬。

    地理分布:中国四川卧龙;日本北海道及本州中、北部。

    凭证标本:中国四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州汶川县,四川卧龙国家级自然保护区,针阔混交林,附生于枯倒木上的苔藓丛中,海拔约2460 m,2023年7月8日,林红强、唐颖、王雪鳗和王镜婷240(CDBI; SZ)。

    中文名拟定:该种萼片与花瓣紧密靠合成兜状,符合舌喙兰属兜被兰组[5]的主要特征;又因其花瓣狭卵形至卵形,区别于该组绝大部分类群的线形花瓣,故中文名拟定为“宽瓣兜被兰”。

    评述:

    本文采取Tang et al.[5]的分类处理,将宽瓣兜被兰归并到舌喙兰属兜被兰组。在该组内,宽瓣兜被兰易于识别,其形态特征为:叶1枚,叶缘波状;叶之上无不育苞片;花瓣狭卵形至卵形,长约3.6 mm,宽约1.5 mm;唇瓣近中部3裂,中裂片三角形至梯形,长约1.8 mm,宽约1.9 mm,先端钝至截平,侧裂片小,线形,长约0.9 mm,宽约0.6 mm,先端钝;距粗筒状,长约2.7 mm,宽约1.3 mm,末端圆钝,略向前凸起;退化雄蕊片状,斜向前突出。此外,宽瓣兜被兰花期为7月,几乎不与该组其他类群的花期重叠。

    宽瓣兜被兰原记载为日本特有种[6]。在形态上,四川卧龙的个体与日本的宽瓣兜被兰[6-7]基本吻合。但Flora of Japan记载宽瓣兜被兰的粘盘裸露、即不具粘囊[6],而本研究对新鲜材料的观察表明该种是具有2个独立的粘囊的(图1D),这也与“最广义”舌喙兰属主要类群的特征一致[5, 8-9]。需要说明的是,由于粘囊体积微小、容易破损,这一性状的观察和记录一直存在挑战,还有待于进行全面而细致的调查[5]。另一方面,本研究测得的卧龙个体的nrITS、matKtrnL-F等三个DNA片段与日本个体[5]高度一致,两者在系统树上聚为得到高度支持的一个分支,主要差异在于卧龙个体的trnL-F片段有一段长约108 bp的插入缺失(图2)。综合形态和分子证据来看,尽管与日本个体存在少许差异,卧龙个体仍可确定为宽瓣兜被兰。

    宽瓣兜被兰间断分布于日本中、北部和我国四川卧龙,不仅扩充了我国植物区系,表明地处横断山区的卧龙自然保护区具有丰富的生物多样性;也是四川-日本间断[10]的一个新例证,并且为同种型间断,对植物地理学研究有一定意义。未来在深入调查宽瓣兜被兰分布区和种群的基础上,可以结合谱系地理学的方法[11],进一步探讨该种间断分布的格局和形成机制。
