Abstract: In this paper,the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to evaluate the ornamental characteristics for the Hypericum patulum Thunb.ex Murray.The results showed that the comprehensive evaluation value was 2.75,and it was type I in the application value grade,which belonged to the category of extremely high application value.According to the actual results of comprehensive evaluation,the application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) evaluation system could accurately and objectively reflect the H.patulum landscape application value,which provided a scientific theoretical basis for the selection of tree species in urban gardens.
