Abstract: The survey was made of diseases and insect pests of walnuts in Panzhihua City,and then classified diagnosis was conducted on them. The results showed that there were 15 kinds of insect pests,and the main insect pests were Limacodidae,Cerambycidae and scale insects; There were 7 kinds of diseases,and main diseases were brown spot,branch blight disease,plaster disease and powdery mildew. In this paper, analysis was made of the reasons of the main diseases and insect pests of walnuts,Emphasis was laid on the popular and heavier diseases and insect pests,and the corresponding prevention and cure methods were also put forward.
