Abstract: This paper reports a new species and a new forma of Dendrocalamus Nees Bambusoideae (Poaceae),they have been respectively named Dendrocalamus mutatus Yi et B. X. Li and Dendrocalamus rongchengensis Yi et C. Y. Xia f. hualongdan Yi. Seeds of Dendrocalamus asper (J. A. et J. H. Schult) Backer ex Heyne introduced from Vietnam,were used for cultivation experiments for ten years. The results showed that their growth was better and suitable for planting in the Sichuan Basin. The new distribution and record of Bambusa changningensis Yi et B. X. Li were found in Xingwenxian,Sichuan.
