Abstract:
In this study, solvent-less microwave distillation and simultaneous extraction approach was used for obtaining of essential oil from leaves of
Dendranthenma indicum var
. aromaticum. Effects of extractant type and dosage, microwave irradiation time and microwave irradiation power on the yield of essential oil were investigated. The optimum operating conditions were as follows: the liquid-solid ratio was 2∶1 mL·g
–1, microwave irradiation time was 40 min, and microwave irradiation power was 540 W. The chemical composition of the essential oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and the main components were myrtenyl acetate (21.72%) and
cis-sabinol (19.23%).
