Abstract:
In order to explore the regeneration after flowering and the growth characteristics of regeneration seedlings of
Fargesia dracocephala in Baishuijiang National Nature Reserve of Gansu province, the density, basal diameter and height of 1-year-old regeneration seedlings after flowering of
F. dracocephala had been studied. The results showed that: (1) The average density of 1-year-old seedlings was 21.7 (±1.96) plants per square meter, the average height was 7.94 (±0.75) cm, and the average basal diameter was 1.24 (±0.07) mm; (2) Moderate canopy density and understory (shrubs and herbs) promoted the density, basal diameter and height of 1-year-old regeneration seedlings. In order to accelerate the recovery of
F. dracocephala, it is necessary to regulate canopy shade in future management.
