Abstract: 11 varieties of Leucaena were introduced from Hawaii, US. The inspection of seeds indexes and technology research of seed breeding were carried out and summarized in Puwen, Xishuangbanna. The results showed that soaking the seeds with hot water for 5 minutes could improve the germination percentage, and the method had better effect of seeding in the seedbed first and then transferring to the container after the cotyledon appearing than seeding directly in container. The forest soil could satisfy the requirement of seedling growth.
