Abstract: Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is an important index of journal quality and paper level. The change rules were analyzed together with influences to journal impact factor, the factor position in the academic subject and the annual periodical dynamic, etc.,based on the JIF data of Journal of Sichuan Forestry Science and Technology (JSFST) in 2009~2015. Three countermeasures were put forward for stable development of JSFST, including outstanding publication characteristics, making the draft plan, updating submission system to shorten the period of checking,and strengthening the editing management and service consciousness, etc.
