Abstract: Pantana phyllostachysae Chao is one of the main pests for Moso bamboo, which could destroy the bamboo forest totally under severe harm condition. In this study the morphotogical Chara cteristics and occurrence regularity of P. phyllostachysae Chao were descriped, and control measures of different periods and steps were summarized.
