Abstract: In this paper,in view of the situation of lack of domestic ecological barrier afforestation achievement evaluation index system,on the basis of summarizing the predecessors' research,by looking up a large number of references,and by using Delphi method to screen indexes and the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) to determine weights,five big srstems were finally screened suah as forest ecosystem,wetland ecosystem,desertification ecosystem,urban ecological system and security support system,including 25 indicators of the upper Yangtze River ecological barrier (afforestation) evaluation index system and evaluation model,thus for Sichuan and even the Yangtze River upstream areas a theoretical basis was provided for the implementation of completing the upper Yangtze river ecological barrier.
