Abstract: The ecological security of the mountain area in Southwest Sichuan plays and will play an important role in the sustainable development of social economy in Sichuan province.The forest ecosystem is the main body of the building the ecological protective screen in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,and it is important to evaluate the ecological security of the main forest types.In this paper,evaluation is made on the ecological security status of main forest types in Panzhihua City,Liangshanyizuzizhou Prefecture(except Muli county),and Yaan city (Hanyuan county and Shimian county) on the basis of the ecological pressure index of forest land and national ecological security evaluation standard.Finally,some control measures for protection forest ecosystem are put forward in this paper.
