Abstract: In this paper,selecting the Zagunao River arid valley areas in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River as the research object,using the data of field investigation,combined with investigation subcompartment data of forest resources and forest land use data protection,and based on factors such as topography,soil,water,vegetation in the region river valley,slope and slope of habitat,respectively,the classification work was done in order to provide the basis for the area of habitat quality evaluation,as well as artificial afforestation tree species selection and afforestation patterns,and a scientific basis and theoretical guidance.Besides,this work but also provided reference for artificial vegetation restoration in the similar difficult site conditions.
