Abstract: For increasing the cultivation output of Zanthoxylum armatum cv.Jiuyeqing,researches were conducted into effects of the treatments of different seed harvest time (seed maturity) and degreasing measures on the germination rate and seedling rate.The results showed that the best treatment for improving germination rate and seedling rate of Zanthoxylum armatum cv.Jiuyeqing was to soak seeds in 2.5% NaOH for 12 hours after threshing,and then soak them in clear water for 24 hours,their germination rate and germinating potential would reach 76.13% and 71.77% respectively.The best havest time was for ten days after White Dew,the seedling-forming rate was 66.23%.
