Abstract: A summary was made of the current status of environment and resources of wetlands in middle reaches of the Jialing River. From the aspects of legislation, administration and rational use of resources, analysis was made of the existing problems and the reasons in wetlands in middle reaches of the Jialing River. In view of these problems, some countermeasures were put porward for the protection and rational use of wetlands in middle reaches of the Jialing River.
