Abstract: Species of termites in Chengdu region of Sichuan Province were systematically investigated during the period from 2009 to 2013,and seven new recorded Reticulitermes species were found,i. e.,Reticulitermes paralucifugus,Reticulitermes longipennis,Reticulitermes longigulus,Reticulitermes microcephalus, Reticulitermes jiangchengensis,Reticulitermes dabieshanensis,and Reticulitermes fukienensi. These new recorded species made the number of Reticulitermes species in Sichuan increased from 23 to 30,and the total number of termite species in Sichuan increased from 64 to 71. Although these termite species were only found to do damage to woods and garden trees,all of them might bring certain extent damage to the housing and building in Sichuan,thus termite control workers and some relevant departments should pay more attention on them.
