Abstract: Taking the forest land resources in Yanbian County of Sichuan Province as the research object, based on the data of forest land resources in 2011, 2015, 2020 and 2025, the spatial distribution characteristics of land type change and forest land transfer were analyzed. The results showed that from 2011 to 2025, the total forest land area exhibited an overall increasing trend, with the area of arbor forest steadily increasing. The spatial distribution of forest land showed a polarization trend, with the southern part of the county experiencing more significant changes than the northern part, and Hongge Town exhibiting the most prominent changes among all areas. In light of the differences between the northern and southern regions, differentiated management suggestions were proposed to provide a reference for regional forest land protection and management.
