Abstract:
Essential oil was extracted from Aurantii Fructus by ohmic heating-assisted hydrodistillation. The effects of liquid-to-solid ratio, ohmic heating voltage, and extraction time on essential oil yield were investigated. The optimal conditions were determined as a liquid-to-solid ratio of 16 mL/g, an ohmic heating voltage of 100 V, and an extraction time of 120 min. The chemical composition of Aurantii Fructus essential oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The major components were limonene (38.79%), germacrene D (11.99%), and linalool (4.24%).
