Abstract:
In order to carry out continuous research on high-generation breeding of Chinese fir and build a high-generation seed garden, 4 morphological indexes of 1-year seedling height, ground diameter, branch number and height-diameter ratio were analyzed in 169 selected families (including 1 control) from the 4th generation breeding population of Chinese fir. The results showed that the 8 families with good comprehensive traits were 2-16, 2-17, 2-47, 2-77, 3-259, 5-33, 5-36, and 10-204. The variation of index traits was obvious and there was a very significant correlation among all lines. The larger the field diameter, the more branching number. Seedling height and ground diameter are the main factors affecting seedling growth. The screened families can provide reference for the construction of high generation seed orchard of Chinese fir.
