Abstract:
In order to carry out continuous research on high-generation breeding of Chinese fir and build a high-generation seed garden, 4 morphological indexes (height, ground diameter, branch number and height-diameter ratio) of 1-year-old seedling of 169 selected families (including 1 control) in the fourth generation breeding population of Chinese fir were analyzed. The results showed that the 8 families with good comprehensive characters were 2-16, 2-17, 2-47, 2-77, 3-259, 5-33, 5-36, and 10-204. The variation of index characters was obvious and there was a very significant correlation among all characters. The thicker the ground diameter, the more branches there were. Seedling height and ground diameter were the main factors affecting seedling growth. The screened families can provide reference for the construction of high generation seed orchard of Chinese fir.
