Abstract:
As an important part of the global ecosystem, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a sensitive area of climate change and an important ecological barrier, and the soil organic carbon stocks in its forest soils have a significant impact on the global carbon cycle. This paper aims to comprehensively analyze the spatial distribution pattern and influencing factors of forest soil organic carbon storage in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The common methods for estimating soil organic carbon stocks were described, and the distribution characteristics of soil organic carbon stocks in different regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau were revealed. It was found that soil organic carbon stocks in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau showed obvious spatial heterogeneity. In addition, the effects of climatic conditions, human activities and soil properties on the distribution of soil organic carbon stocks were discussed, and relevant prospects were proposed.
