Abstract:
To study the germination characteristics of
Acanthochlamys bracteata seeds and explore the appropriate germination strategy, different light and temperature conditions were set in the experiment, and the seeds were treated with different types and concentrations of growth hormones, and the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of different treatment groups were analyzed. The experimental results showed that temperature and light had the most significant effects on
A. bracteata seed germination, and temperature was the determining factor. The germination potential and germination index of
A. bracteata seeds were the highest under 25°C and 12 h/12 h light conditions. Among the three plant hormones, 10 mg/L of GA
3 had the most significant effects on the promotion of
A. bracteata seed germination. The best treatment group was the seeds treated with 10 mg/L GA
3 solution and incubated in 20℃, 12 h/12 h light conditions, and the germination rate, germination potential, and germination index were 93%, 50%, and 24.78, respectively.
