Abstract: During a collecting trip in 2020, some beetles from Nosodendridae were found in Shandong province, which family was never found in Shandong province before. In this paper, the author will identify and describe the species. The species was identified to be Nosodendron taiwanense Yoshitomi, Kishimoto & Lee, 2015 (Coleoptera, Bostrichoidea: Nosodendridae). The specie was first recorded in mainland China, while the family was first recorded from Shandong province. In this paper, the author redescribes Nosodendron taiwanense Yoshitomi, Kishimoto & Lee, 2015 and provides some information of ecology and ethology.

Figure 1.  Adult Nosodendron taiwanense Yoshitomi, Kishimoto & Lee, 2015

Figure 2.  Adult Nosodendron taiwanense Yoshitomi, Kishimoto & Lee, 2015

Figure 3.  The genitalia of Nosodendron taiwanense Yoshitomi, Kishimoto & Lee, 2015
