Through an analysis of concept, development history and research trends of the scenic forest, discussion was made on research direction and prospect of the scenic forest. It is suggested that it should be an important practical significance to launch relevant researches on promoting the establishment of a beautiful,healthy and stable scenic forest and the development of ecotourism.
