Influence of Algedonia coclesalis Damage on the Secondary Metabolite Content of Phyllostachys heterocycla Leaves

  • Researches were conducted on influence of Algedonia coclesalis damage on the secondary metabolite content Phyllostachys heterocycla leaves. The results showed that the content of tannins and flavonoids increased, and the total phenol content decreased in leaves of Phyllostachys heterocycla. There was a close relationship between secondary metabolites and insect resistance.
