A Summary of Waterlogging Tolerance of Plants

Waterfront afforestation plants were frequently flooded and thus their survival rates were low. So the water resistance became a problem in the selection of plants, the focus of the waterfront afforestation was to choose waterlogging resistant plants. In this paper, discussion was made on the research progress, development trend of the mechanism, evaluation indexes, and the main evaluation methods of plants waterlogging tolerance. Besides, some views were put forward for its future developmental tendency.
