Abstract:
Using the embryo of
Sorbus prattii as the explants, the effects of different hormones and basal medium types on the germination, proliferation and rooting were studied. The results showed that the average germination rate of
Sorbus prattii seed embryos on MS+0.5 mg·L
−1 6-BA medium was 90.67%. The sprouts were transferred to MS+0.25 mg·L
−1 6-BA+0.025 mg·L
−1 NAA+30 g·L
−1 sucrose +7 g·L
−1 carrageenan, with an average multiplication factor of 3.14. When the proliferation continues, the basic medium was changed to DKW for sustainable cultivation of robust buds. The averge rooting rate of sprouts in DKW+0.02mg·L
−1 IBA+30 g·L
−1 sucrose +7 g·L
−1 carrageenan was 92.5%. The rooted seedlings were transplanted after hardening, and the survival rate in winter was over 90%.
