Abstract:
Using proliferating seedling of
Sorbus hupehensis of more than 5 generations as explants, the method of improving the induction and growth of adventitious buds were studied. The results showed that among the 23 additives, agarose and konjac powder could significantly improve the rooting rate of sprouts, and the medium with added konjac powder had the best rooting effect. In the rooting medium of DKW+0.5 mg·L
−1 NAA containing 1 g·L
−1 konjac powder, the rooting rate of
Sorbus hupehensis seedlings was significantly increased from 31.67% in the control to 52.86%. When the konjac powder concentration was increased to 2 g·L
−1, the rooting rate increased significantly to 80.95%, and a large number of adventitious roots and lateral roots could be induced. Each sprout had an average of 5.39 adventitious roots, an average root length of 21 mm, and 6.19 lateral roots, with an average lateral root length of 6.7 mm. Meanwhile, the stem segments of the sprouts stretched, and the average seedling height could reach 4.3 cm.
