2018, 39(1): 1-5. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2018.01.001
Abstract:
Crossbreeding and utilization of heterosis were the key ways of forest tree improvement.A NCⅡ design was conducted with twelve plus trees of A. cremastogyne Burk.and one improved breeds of A. glutinosa.Phenotypic traits of one year seedlings were measured to reveal the growth performance and genetic stability of crossbreeding seedlings, and to provide reference for breeding of A.cremastogyne.The results showed that there were very significant differences between families in height and diameter. An obvious difference of the general combining ability (GCA) existed between different traits with the same parents or between different parents with the same traits.JT4 as a female parent had a relatively higher GCA value than other parents. There were significant differences of special combining ability (SCA) between families,F6 had the most SCA value in height,F36 had the most SCA value in diameter.High broad-sense heritability existed in all traits, with the broad-sense heritability of height above 50%.Comprehensive analysis showed that significant differences occurred between hybrid offspring,so primary selection of seedlings among and within families was workable.JT4,JG6 or BZ6 (as female parents),LD8 or XH5 (as male parents) had a high GCA value. It was primarily thought that these parents could be served as the better parents resources of crossbreeding.F6,F32,F36,and F42 could be used for breeding in A.cremastogyne because of their higher SCA value in height and diameter than other families.

2018, 39(1): 82-86. doi: 10.16779/j.cnki.1003-5508.2018.01.017
Abstract:
Nitrogen (N) deposition could change CO2 efflux in forest soils, but current experimental results showed a high uncertainty in the direction and magnitude of the effect of N deposition.By combining the in situ monitoring results of N deposition experiments that were conducted in China, the effects of N deposition were assessed on CO2 efflux in forest soils at national scale. The results showed that N deposition significantly declined 8.7% of the CO2 efflux in forest soils in China, and this influence was greater for secondary forests and plantations than that for for primary forests. Moreover,N deposition had no significant effects on soil CO2 efflux in broad-leaved,needle and mixed forests, but significantly decreased the CO2 efflux in bamboo soils by 36%.However,this influence was significant only when the dose of N fertilization was more than 100 kg N·hm-2·a-1,and the effect of ammonium nitrate was greater than urea. The decline in CO2 efflux in forest soils was due to the decrease of soil microbial activity induced by fertilized N.
